The showdown in poker is usually the culmination of a series of betting rounds. In this case, more than one player remains in contention after the final betting round.
The game is played using plastic chips, but there are also more advanced forms that allow you to swap them for real money. To determine the best hand, players bet according to a set of game rules. Usually, a player who is not able to afford enough chips to wager may go all-in. If the bet is matched, a player can raise, fold or drop.
